Tuesdays

It was just another Tuesday like every other Tuesday for the past 3 years. After work I had to rush home and change my clothes and quickly pick up something for the boys to eat before basketball practive and scouts.
The most exciting part about it was that my friend Michelle called me. I have not spoken to her in a while and I was getting concerned and worried about her since it is not like her not to respond. She had gotten the Flu and being pregnant with the flu is not fun! Plus the baby is a big one so she will be getting a test today to see how big he is and then they will decide if she needs to be induced or not. Please keep her in your prayers! Michelle is like my best friend and the little sister that I always wanted! We met through a church that I used to attend and we hit it off like wild fire! We have so much in common and like so many of the same things. Have you ever had a friend that you have just clicked with? Michelle is that friend. No matter how long it has been since we talked last we always seem to be able to pick up where we left off. I have a couple of other friends like that……Lisa (my college roommate), Joanne (a great friend who loves me just for me and I love her for herself as well), Ron (my first friend at college) and Jo-Ann (who I met through work).

Just reading your blog. I know that it has been a long time since we spoke due to all the crazy things that have been happening at the company. But I feel the same way that you do, that even thou were have not spoken in a while, I know I could pick up the phone and call you and it would be just like old times. Times that I miss very much.

Hey Julie! I was wondering what happened with your old blog and was glad you commented on mine so I knew where you went.
Anyway, I totally have friends like that. Two of my best friends in the whole world live right here in MD but I rarely get to see them. When we talk on the phone or actually get to hang out with each other, we pick up right where we left off. It’s hard to come by those kinds of friends. I’m grateful for those friends.
Haven’t heard anything about our friend as of yet. I’ll let you know when I do.
